The basement design calls for the excavation of nearly the entire space including new structural underpinning of the foundation. This will allow for a minimum of 8’ ceiling height in the finished space.

The main living space was differentiated by material and size.

The design approach split the house into three discreet volumes in order to fit the program into site setbacks.

The simplicity of the composition allows the house to have a strong presence from the street.

Phase 1 - Renovation - includes three bathroom remodels, new laundry and mudroom room on the main level and a kitchen remodel that re-shuffled existing cabinets and upgraded finishes.

Phase 2 - Addition - includes a new garage entering at grade, an indoor stair connection to the main level and a large loft space above the garage with vaulted ceilings.
